Someone Else Somewhere Else

It was early in the Spring when I found myself
Again, on my own time
Echos of a recent storm just banging around
Inside my mind

And I'm tired of being sorry
And I'm tired of being sad
And I'm tired of being lonely
And it's time that I got mad
And I'll take back my own feelings
And I'll own just what is mine
And I can change the parts I want to
For Someone else, Somewhere else

I was playing an impossible game in a dream
A game of expectations
Where the finish line kept receeding from me
And this dream became a nightmare

And I'm sick of being the loser
And I'm sick of being hurt
And I'm sick of hurting others
And it's time that we all healed
And I'm tired of being sorry
And I'm tired of being sad
And I'm tired of being lonely
And it's time I found myself
Someone else, Somewhere else
